SIGNS OF THE TIMES: The MU patio becomes a sea of signs Feb. 6 as students dance to drums and voice their views on a possible war with Iraq. The anti-war rally drew a few hundred participants and onlookers, as well as Iraqi-involvement supporters. Freshman Rabia Khan said: “Everyone doesn’t have to support the war no matter what Bush thinks.” Joe Fitzmorris, a junior, said: “I believe what the President is saying about Iraq.” The noon rally, preceded by a classroom walkout, was coordinated by the student group Third World Forum and involved several student organizations, including the Students for Justice in Palestine and the International Socialist Organization.
